You can take bath bombs is a hard packed mixture of chemicals which, when made wet gives an effervesces or fizzes and is also used to add oils, scent and color to bath water. They have a weak acid as an ingredient and a bicarbonate as a base which are unreactive when they dry out, but react vigorously when dissolved in water and thus are regarded as bath bombs. These bubbles are basically carbon dioxide and include citric acid and sodium bicarbonate, which is an ingredient of these bath bombs.
4 Steps to Make High Quality Bath Bombs
1. Getting Familiar with Ingredients:-
In order to make bath bombs, you will need some ingredients that you will bring under use so as to make bath bombs. First of all, you are advised to keep these ingredients with you at a single place. You can choose to take citric acid (preferably powdered form), Baking soda, corn starch, cocoa, Shea butter, coloring agents and some oils like almond oil, olive oil or coconut oil so as to get added benefits. If you seek to go for the protective measures, you can choose to put on gloves so as to avoid any contact of the stuff with hands.
2. Making The Mixture:-
Take a suitable amount of citric acid, baking soda and corn starch in some utensil and mix them up together to form a mixture. You can mix them up using a juice mixer grinder machine and when they get mixed up together, you can add sweetener according to wish. Now add some water to it by the means of water sprayer and give it a dough like form. You are advised to keep it in a dough like form only and do not let it get much liquidly and that is the only reason I have advised you to use a water sprayer instead of using the tap.
3. Mixing Up the Oils:-
After the mixture gets damp, you are advised to pour the oils in it. You can also choose to add the coloring agents in it according to your wish. You can also choose to add some room freshening deodorant forming some dough like molds of it.
4. Avoid Cracking And Compact Into Molds:-
Compact the mixture firmly into dome molds applying pressure, but avoiding cracks and then let them get dry by keeping them at a place for some time to get dry, preferably for not less than 24 hours and then remove them and store them in an air tight container. They will get spoiled if they get some moisture and thus I will advise you to put some silica gel pouches in the container along with them so as to avoid making any contact with the moisture.
