Saina Nehwal, who was born on 17th of March, 1990 in Hisar part of Haryana, is a woman badminton champion of India who has proved glorious for the bride if nation. This 5 ft 5 inches tall Indian women with 60 kgs weight, coached by Mr. Arif, Pullela Gopichand and her current coach Mr. Vimal Kumar, currently playing for Hyderabad Hotshots in the Indian Badminton League, is a right handed badminton player ranked currently at number two by the Badminton World Federation and is still making continuous efforts to grab the number one position. India is filled with pride hearing the name of this daughter of it. She has recently become world’s number one women’s badminton player in the world in April 2015 reaching the tag of Numero UNO.

Saina Nehwal, the name is enough to be an inspiration for all the other female counterparts. This woman full of enthusiasm for her mother nation has achieved a bronze medal in Incheon women’s team in Asian games, again a bronze in Uber cup in 2014 in New Delhi and bronze medal in women’s singles in Olympic Games held in 2012 in London and again a bronze in Asian Championships held in 2010 in New Delhi. She won a gold medal in girls singles world junior championship in 2008 and a gold again in 2010 Common Wealth Games held in India taking part in the women’s singles.

She has grabbed many other medals for the country being the first Indian to win the World Junior Badminton Championships and was also the first Indian to win a Super Series Tournament, by digging a victory flag in The Indonesia Open held in the year 2009.

How Did She Fortify Herself?

Success is not achieved in one day, there is always a great effort behind every success story. Born as the second daughter to Mr. Harvir Singh and Mrs. Usha Rani in Hisar and completing the first steps of her schooling in the Campus school, CCS HAU, Hisar the family had later on moved to Hyderabad.

With the support of her family, she became under-19 National champion and created history by winning the Asian Satellite Badminton tournament (India Chapter) twice, becoming the first player to do so that was itself a matter of prestige for both the family and Saina Nehwal herself.

Her carrier started like this what proved to be a glorious step in enriching her skills and then she kept on fortifying herself day by day. Till the date of June 2009, she became the first Indian to win a BWF Super Series title, She had won the Indonesia open and what proved to be glorious for young Saina Nehwal. Till the date she has kept enriching her skills taking guidance from the coach, Mr. Vimal Kumar is fortifying herself to become more stronger and take an unbeatable position for her country.
