Replenishment refers to bring back what you have lost of to overcome the loss made to anything and in case of soil when you have cultivated some crop, after you harvest it, the fertility of that soil will be lost and the nutrients would be lacking. 1. To Add Earthworms in the Soil:-

Earthworms are found to be good for the cultivation of crops like mushroom etc and are found beneficial for the purpose of increasing fertility of soil and to get back the nutrients that it has lost.

2. Keep Adding the Kitchen Waste to It:-

Kitchen waste can also be added to the soil in order to get back the nutrients that it has lost. It is the property of such kitchen wastes that when added to soil, they get decomposed and increase the fertility of soil and thus the kitchen waste can be added to soil in order to replenish back the nutrients that it has lost.

There are also some special kinds of chemicals that we call fertilizers that can be added to the soil in order to get its fertility back. 4. The Nutrients Are Replenished Also By Water:-

The fields that are near to rivers also get the nutrients back with water that is supplied to the fields taking water from the river. The rivers pass from the mountains and rocks and as we know that these rocks and mountains have got minerals as well as salts in them, even the water gets added with minerals and when this water is supplied to the fields, the nutrients get replenished.

5. By Crop Rotation As Well:-

There is a process called crop rotation that includes crops of various kinds to be planted one after the other and as a particular kind of crop takes only a particular kind of nutrients from the soil, the second crop cultivated will supply back the nutrients making soil replenished with its nutrient needs.

6. By The dead Leaves and Stem That Get Decomposed In It:-

The dead leaves and stems of plants that get dead can be buried underground so as to make the soil get back its requirement of minerals and other such nutrients that it needs and thus to add dead leaves in a particular part of area is also another option to replenish the fertility of soil.
