6 Super Tips to Improve Graphics Card Performance

How to Improve Graphics Card Performance

1. Update the Graphic Card Driver:-

Just like you can’t enjoy the features on any Windows version by just installing it and not installing its drivers, similarly you can’t enjoy the features of a graphic card without its drivers. If you have an old version of drivers for your graphic card, you can update or change them by installing a new and updated version. This will bring about the desired improvement in your desktop usage experience.

2. Increase Your System’s RAM:-

Let me tell you first that no graphic card has a RAM of its own and all the graphic card feed upon your computer’s RAM in order to function properly. You should try increasing your computer’s RAM by replacing the old RAM chips with new ones having more memory specification than the old ones. If you are on a 64 bit desktop, you can easily accommodate a RAM of 4GB for your computer. This will bring about a significant speed in your device and it will also improve your gaming experience.

3. Make It Work In Dual Channel Mode Instead Of Power Saving Mode:-

You should operate your computer in dual channel mode instead of power saving mode in order to improve your graphic performance. The graphic performance goes faded when you have switched on power saver mode for your desktop as it reduced the brightness of your computer. Making your computer work in dual channel also fortifies your situation against such circumstances as well.

4. Delete the Temporary Files:-

Sometimes, deleting your computer’s temporary files is also the solution. These temporary files are stored in a separate temporary file folder, but they still feed on your computer’s RAM. You can clear all these temporary files by pressing “WINDOW KEY” + “R” key and then entering the keywords like “%temp%”,”temp”,”prefetch” etc. This gives you an access to temporary files on your computer and you can easily delete them.

5. Delete the Not-Useful Files of Your Games:-

When you play games on your computer, some un-necessary files get stored in your system to enhance a better playing experience for you. These files are can be deleted in time and again in order to enhance the graphical experience of your desktop.

6. Go for a Window Update:-

If you have software copies of each and every software available with yourself stored in a pen drive, you can try formatting the window drive easily. Formatting the window or updating a window removes all the files and makes it as good as new. The graphic performance gets improved and you can install the desired applications again in it.
