How To Get Perfect Skin In Winter
1. Pat dry skin :-
Don’t rub your skin with towel to dry. Rubbing the skin makes it more drier. Patting it dry locks in the moisture. This will help you in removing or brushing out your dry skin away.
2. Deeply nourish your skin :-
Apply a deep nourishing body lotion while your skin is still wet. Skin will absorb the cream quickly. This trick works all the time and it gives hydrated skin in no time. The main thing to be kept in mind is that body lotion should be applied just after taking bath, at that time the skin is soft.

Always give extra attention to areas like elbows, knees, ankles, nails etc. Often we tend to ignore these areas and they result in dry flaky skin and even bleeding. Apply generous amount of body lotions here and rub it in. Apply a good dose of petroleum jelly to keep them nourished and lock in moisture.
4. Tackle cracked heels :-
For cracked heels, give yourself a home pedicure. If you don’t have much time use a pumice stone to get rid of dead cells while taking shower. There are many creams available in market also. You can also apply some creams on foot and then massage it and follow with a coat of petroleum jelly. Then wear socks. This keeps heels and foot nice and crack free.
5. Red nose and cheeks :-
If you get red nose or cheeks because of dry winter air, give yourself a warm compression. Take a tissue and warm it up by blowing air. Just press it down on the area. Repeat a few times. Follow with some cream. Moisturize the skin to keep it from drying.
6. Facial skin :-
Deep nourishing creams and sunscreens are best for winter season. In daytime don’t forget to apply nourishing sunscreens.
7. Bathe with lukewarm water :-
Winter is the time when your skin and hair need maximum attention. though the idea of bathing in hot water is very tempting, stick to a lukewarm water bath everyday. Make sure you use a mild non-drying soap or a moisturizing soap to protect your skin from getting dry and itchy.
8. Drink lots of water :-
People tend to drink less water during winters but it is highly important to hydrate your skin from within. Carry a bottle of water wit you whenever you step outside. Herbal tea is also a great remedy to moisturize your skin from within. Don’t leave your skin thirsty. Drink more water and help your skin retain its shine.
