A dog’s ears are the vital and the crucial part of its body and they also need to be cleaned besides cleaning the whole body of the dog.
How To Clean Dog’s Ears With Simple Steps
The dog’s ears can be cleaned by many techniques that prove to be safe and a cleaner means to clear the ear of a dog out without doing any harm to it. Dogs are a bit distractive and hence the full procedure of cleaning the ear of the dog should be pre-planned and all the needed items for the process should be pre-gathered to avoid any sort of distraction.
Methods To Perform :-
1. The first method to clear a dog’s ear is to simply take out a piece of cotton gauze wrapped around a stick or simply your finger and moistened with an ear cleaner fluid meant specially for this purpose consulting the vet-experts and then the cotton needs to be applied clearly to the ear of dog keeping the gauze wet and gently swabbing it round the inner and outer ear of the dog.if the cotton gets too much dirty it needs to be changed following the same procedure again using multiple piece of gauze keeping a gentle touch following the same process every week as the dogs are likely to get dirty much often and much quickly.
2. If the ear cleaner fluid is not available, a few table spoons vinegar mixture poured in luke warm water can even be used for the process to clean the dog’s ears but make sure the water should not be much boiled as it might make the dog frustrated and it may make you distracted from the work.
The process remains the same, cotton needs to be dipped in this mixture and then the squeezed out cotton needs to be swabbed along the inner and outer ear of the dog. If the cotton gets too much dirty it needs to be changed following the same procedure again using multiple piece of cotton balls wiping out the ears of the dog in a gentle way. The size of the cotton depends on the size of the dog or the pup, if the case is of a pup, the cotton ball should be tiny in size.
