Why Is It Hot At The Equator

If you go by the world wind mapping patterns, you will find that equator is the exact place where there is hotness much more than the other such places and this is why this is an area with temperature much higher than the other regions. This fills one’s mind with a question, what is so special in this region that makes it differ from the others and why it is that the equator is so much hot and this is why here we are trying our best to make this phenomenon get clear to your knowledge.

Why is it Always Hot at the Equator

Why is it Always Hot at the Equator

1. The Air Mechanism:-

Talking about the air mechanism or the air patterns, it is the nature of the air that it gets raised up when heated and the heated air is light in nature. The sand in the areas of equator is generally of the nature which makes it get too much hot within a short interval of time because of the sun’s rays and this is why it is too much hot at this place.

2. The Most of Deserts Are Located In This Area:-

If you look at the world map, the region that has got its places passing the equator region will be found to have the most of deserts if you have a look over the names of these places and as we all know that where there is a desert, the climate is generally likely to either be much hotter or much cool.

3. The Nature of Soil in These Areas:-

I told you earlier that these areas are mostly the deserts and the soil found here is basically the sand that is found in heaps and it is the nature of sand that it gets too much hot during the day when sun’s rays fall over it and gets even cooled much easier during night as well.

4. The Atmospheric Pressure As Well As Other Such Conditions:-

The other conditions such as the atmospheric pressure, the uneven fall of rains as well as wind patterns are also responsible for bringing about a significant kind of rise in the temperature of these areas and this is why it is much hot climate in these regions.

5. Watch out the Wind Patterns:-

If you think there is something that lacks in my words, just go by, the world map showing the wind patterns as well as the places that pass the equator. Now you will find that most of the deserted places are located in this equatorial region and the variations in the wind flow are also uneven, which supports my words.
